Administration - Responsible for all city operations. City Manager, Tom Ernharth ternharth@cityofstarke.org
City Clerk - Responsibility for all the duties as prescribed by the city charter to include all the functions related to financial management of the City's funds. Utility billing is generated from the city clerks' office. All billing questions should be directed to this office.

Code Enforcement - The Code Enforcement office is responsible for responding to all issues relating to the violations of the city codes. Lajuan Whittle 904-964-5027
Electric Dept. - The Electric Department provides safe and reliable service to its customers. Supervisor, Alan Smith
Fire Dept.-The Fire Department is responsible for the safety and welfare of the citizens of Starke. The department has an interlocal agreement with Bradford County and responds to all calls in a timely manner. Chief, Tom Rowe 911 or 904-964-7116 firerescue@cityofstarke.org
Gas Dept. - Responsible for the maintenance and expansion of the city's gas lines to ensure continued safe service. The City Gas Dept. does not run new lines after the meter. We do not hook up or repair appliances. Supervisor, Jeremiah Johnson

Human Resources - The City Clerk's office is responsible for maintaining the City's Personnel Policies and Procedures.
Parks & Recreation - There are three (3) recreation facilities located in Starke. Bradford Parents Association hosts the balls programs and Concerned Citizens have the after school program activities.
Bldg. & Zoning - Responsible for the administration and coordination of city issues associated with zoning and building permits. Lajuan Whittle 904-964-5027

Public Works - Responsible for maintenance and expansion of the City's infrastructure. The Public Works department maintains all public property within the city and are responsible for the upkeep of it. ATTENTION ALL GAS CUSTOMERS:
CITY EMPLOYEES ARE ONLY PERMITTED TO ENTER
RESIDENTIAL OR COMMERCIAL PROPERTY FOR THE
SOLE PURPOSE OF LIGHTING PILOT LIGHTS
IF FOR ANY REASON YOU HAVE YOUR GAS TURNED OFF FOR
ANY TYPE OF REPAIR IT IS YOUR RESPONSIBILITY TO
* OBTAIN A PERMIT FROM THE CITY BUILDING DEPARTMENT
*PUT A 50 PSI PRESSURE TEST ON YOUR LINE FOR AT LEAST 1 HOUR BEFORE INSPECTION
*ANY FEES REQUIRED TO TURN THE GAS OFF AND ON WILL HAVE TO BE PAID BEFORE GAS WILL BE TURNED ON.
